About

JM Winter first tried writing a book at thirteen. After a trip to London got her imagination racing, she drafted an eighty-plus page novella about an au pair turned spy for the Royal family -- every tween's dream.

Since, she's continued to write, mostly nonfiction and mostly in audio. Recently, JM has rediscovered her love for fiction, and, in particular, fantasy and science fiction. She's now working on her debut SFF novel, as well as a collection of poems that take the reader through a coming of age story many will find similar.

In the meantime, she's enjoying taking writing workshops with Sackett Street Workshops in NYC, such as Speculative Fiction with Marissa Levien and Writing for Young Adults with Julia Lynn Rubin -- plus consuming fiction morning, noon and night.
